And every year, on June 5th, we are reminded of our responsibility towards the planet, in being conscious of the environmental repercussions of our decisions. Through our sincere effort on this World Environment Day, it was our aim to contribute to the global goal of net zero.

Planting the Seeds of Change

Keeping in line with this year’s theme of “Ecosystem Restoration”, a company-wide planting drive was organised to bring momentum to the urgent need of recovering our damaged habitat. A simple but significant initiative, planting trees is a quintessential method in our fight for environmental preservation by reducing pollution, enhancing biodiversity and combating climate change. By playing a pivotal role in water cycle regulation and soil preservation, trees breathe life back into our environs.

Such change has to start at the grassroot level, with our greatest assets—our employees. One of the most rewarding aspects of our planting drive was the enthusiastic participation of our employees. Through this initiative, a culture of sustainability was fostered in the workplace, with workforce that is sensitive to the needs of the planet. Using comprehensive education, we also endeavoured to inspire our employees to adopt greener practices and create a tangible impact on the environment.
